Being a careful driver unfortunately does not always save people from unfortunate accidents. However, even a Tampa car accident attorney would be shocked to learn about the accident that cost four people their lives.
The accident occurred on I-95 near Tampa. The driver who perpetrated the accident was going the wrong direction in a SUV on the road and ended up smashing into the side of a minivan, which resulted in the death of the four people in the minivan. The driver was being pursued by police at the time of the accident. The police stated they had stopped pursuing the man before the accident. The Southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down while the accident was being investigated. The driver was taken to the hospital with two broken legs. It is not clear yet what he is being charged with.
The four people who were killed in the minivan did nothing wrong but still lost their lives because of the senseless act of one man. Many other families have had to deal with other similar unfortunate situations, where a loved one is lost because of a car accident. Dealing with that type of tragedy is always incredibly difficult on the family, not only because of the emotional loss, but also because of the financial costs as well, including medical bills, funeral costs, repairs for the vehicle any many other associated costs. Often times a Florida car accident lawyer should be consulted and a lawsuit must be brought in order to make up for all of those associated costs and fees. If the driver who caused the accident is also charged with a crime related to the accident, this only makes the civil case more straightforward as the liability is often not a question.
Seeking out assistance after the loss of a loved one is incredibly difficult to do. It is often necessary however to begin the long road to recovery.
